Dr David K. Clark
David is the Vice President and Dean of Bethel Seminary, with locations in St Paul; San Diego; Auburn, Mass.; and Washington D. C. He has graduate degrees in religion, philosophy of religion, and theology. He is the founder of Bethel Seminary’s graduate programme in Christian Thought and a strong advocate for thinking through the Christian faith for oneself.
Dr R. Scott Smith
Scott is a Professor of Ethics and Christian Apologetics at Biola University, La Mirada, California. He has graduate degrees in philosophy of religion and social ethics. Scott is especially well versed in the intellectual and philosophical challenges to Christianity, especially as these arise in moral philosophies and in contemporary thinking about community and social life.
Dr Bruce Boeckel
Bruce is the founder and director of Evidence for Christ Ministries. He is a Christian apologist specializing in the cultural and intellectual history of Europe and North America. In the months ahead, Bruce and his wife, Mary, will be moving as church planters to East Berlin, Germany, where they will be planting a a multi-national, English-language church with the International Baptist Convention.
Dr Angulus Wilson
Angulus is the founder and director of Angelos Biblical Institute. He is a Christian apologist specializing in North-American urban culture, including such factors as gang socialization and hip-hop culture. Angulus has planted churches across the United States and leads seminars in pastoral ministry across Africa and the Caribbean.
Rev Jän van Oosten
Jän is a church-planter and the Senior Pastor of New Covenant Community Church, our host church for Evidence 2015. He is a Christian apologist specializing in the history of theology and in contemporary North American social movements and ideologies. Jän is an engaging preacher-teacher and a leader in making Christian apologetics effective in the local church.
Andrea is the founder and executive director of MadeforThem, a new non-profit organization combatting child prostitution and human trafficking in Central California and beyond. Her husband is also involved in the conference as director of the Evidence 2015 Musicians.
Jon is the husband of Andrea, a Christian recording artist, and Minister of Worship and Music at The Word Community Church, Fresno, CA. Jon is an engaged composer and performer of cutting-edge Christian music. He is a strong advocate for Christian involvement at the forefronts of contemporary music and media.
Rachel is a musical composer, vocalist, instrumentalist, and Christian recording artist. For three years running, Rachel has been named the Best Female Contemporary Christian Artist at the Indie Music Channel Awards. She was also recently named Artist of the Month by the worldwide social music platform ArtistSignal.
Anansa is a vocalist, church choir director, musical arranger, and worship leader. She is a talented vocal coach and a tireless advocate for Christian music as ministry. Anansa is the Choir and Musical Director at New Beginnings Community Baptist Church, Fresno, CA.
Bruce is a vocalist, guitarist, and keyboard player. Using his training in literature and music, Bruce is an advocate for Christian involvement in culture and the arts. He is currently the Associate Pastor of Worship Arts at New Beginnings Community Baptist Church, Fresno, CA.
Dr Nathan Smith
Nathan is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at Fresno Pacific University. Raised a Mormon, Nathan left the Mormon church and was a seeker for eight years before coming to Christian faith as an adult. As a university-trained seeker, Nathan was drawn to such Christian apologists as C. S. Lewis and G. K. Chesterton. Based on this experience, Nathan is a strong advocate for Christian thought in the marketplace of ideas.
Tony works part-time for Ratio Christi, an international Christian apologetics organization, as Social Media, IT, and HR Support Specialist and as Assistant to the National Director of Chapter Formation. Tony is also currently a student in Christian apologetics (Religious and Islamic Studies) with Southern Evangelical Seminary and is moving toward full-time ministry with Ratio Christi.
In addition to his work in IT security, Don works with Learn Apologetics and is president of Third Column Ministries, a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging culture for Christ and assisting other Christian organizations with technology. Don is near completion of his M. A. in Christian Apologetics from Biola University, La Mirada, CA.
